Jamal Musiala's Road to Recovery: Bayern's Cautious Approach

Jamal Musiala is edging back towards full action, but Bayern’s staff are refusing to gamble.

According to Bild, the 23-year-old had his medication dosage increased after suffering two collapses in friendly matches, incidents linked to brief neurological disturbances and short losses of consciousness. The club has reacted cautiously, with the coaching team convinced his comeback “should not be rushed now”.

Even so, Monday brought a clear step forward. Musiala completed the full team session in the afternoon, training without restrictions. The Germany international looked sharp, strong in the duels and physically in good shape, described as being on the right track for a return. Parts of the session took place behind a protective screen on one pitch, with the rest carried out on the adjacent field in full view.

For Vincent Kompany, the picture is suddenly brighter. With Musiala back in the thick of it and Serge Gnabry also returning, Bild reports that the Bayern coach now has his entire squad available in training. No injuries. No one working individually.

Just a full group, and a major creative force steadily finding his way back.
