Camilo Duran's Double Leads Celtic to Victory Over Falkirk

Camilo Duran offered Celtic exactly what they needed: goals, energy and a hint of redemption after their European setback, as his first-half double sealed a 2-1 win over Falkirk.

Given the central striking role in place of the injured Kasper Hogh, the Colombian wasted no time justifying the decision. Playing in his favoured position, he led the line with conviction, striking twice inside the opening 29 minutes with the kind of finishes supporters expect from a natural centre-forward.

Duran did more than just score. He repeatedly carved Falkirk open, slipping team-mates into promising areas and dragging defenders out of shape. Celtic, with him as their focal point, created a stream of chances before the interval and could easily have gone in with the game already out of sight.

They did not. And that kept Falkirk alive.
