Barca to win – and shut the door
Barcelona are overwhelming favourites in the match odds. The prices give Flick’s side an implied chance of more than 90% to take all three points, which offers little value on the straight win.
The cleaner angle is to lean into their defensive form.
Barca have kept three clean sheets in their first four La Liga games, conceding only twice – both in the win over Rayo Vallecano. Flick has tightened the structure quickly, and the arrival of Rodri has added a steel Barcelona have often lacked in recent European campaigns.
Behind him, a likely central pairing of Pau Cubarsí and Andreas Christensen in front of Joan García looks settled and assured. That spine has already shown it can suffocate lesser domestic opponents.
Feyenoord have scored 13 times in five Eredivisie outings, but this is a different level of test. They have yet to face a side of Barcelona’s calibre this season, and Nacho Ferri leads the line with limited Champions League experience. In a stadium like the Camp Nou, against a side in this kind of form, that inexperience can bite.

Raphinha’s new role, same threat
Raphinha wears the armband now, and it shows. The Brazilian has started the 2026/27 La Liga season on fire, with six goals in four matches. Flick has shifted him into a central role, asking him to finish moves rather than build them from wide areas.
It suits him.
He is averaging 2.26 shots on target per 90 minutes so far this term, a figure that reflects his new licence to pull the trigger. Feyenoord are unlikely to camp on their own 18-yard line the way many La Liga visitors do at the Camp Nou. That should open lanes for Raphinha to spin into pockets and shoot early.

Form lines and fitness worries
Barcelona’s early-season surge has been emphatic. Four wins from four in La Liga, 17 goals scored, just two conceded. The 5-0 demolition of Valencia at Mestalla was a statement that Flick’s ideas have landed quickly.

Van Bronckhorst, though, travels light in some areas. Jordan Bos, Gijs Smal, Bart Nieuwkoop and Jakub Moder are all out of the trip to Catalonia. That piles more responsibility on Gjivai Zechiël, who has scored four in his last five and carries much of their attacking spark.
