Zinédine Zidane to be Unveiled as France’s National Team Manager on July 28

The Fédération Française de Football confirmed that the new manager for France’s national team will be revealed on Tuesday, July 28. It looks very likely that Zinédine Zidane will be announced as the successor to Didier Deschamps.

A press conference is scheduled for 11am at the FFF headquarters in Paris, where Zidane will be officially introduced alongside FFF president Philippe Diallo.

After leaving his coaching role at Real Madrid in 2021, Zidane has been out of work for a few years. This appointment marks his much-anticipated return to international football by taking charge of France's top managerial position.

He is expected to sign a contract lasting four years, guiding Les Bleus at least through the 2030 World Cup. His first match in charge will be an away fixture against Turkey in the Nations League, scheduled for late September during the 2026-2027 season.
