Women’s Super League 2026/27 Transfer Calendar Confirmed
The Women’s Super League has locked in its transfer calendar for the 2026/27 campaign, setting the stage for another frantic summer of recruitment and mid-season reshaping.
The summer window will open on Tuesday, June 16, with clubs free to register new players right through to 11pm (UK time) on Thursday, September 3. Those dates will frame months of scouting, negotiations, and last-minute phone calls as squads are rebuilt and refined.
Winter Market
Attention will then turn to the winter market. The league has confirmed that the January window will run from Monday, January 4, 2027, until 11pm on Thursday, February 4, giving managers a crucial mid-season opportunity to correct course, cover injuries, or push for the title with one bold signing.
Recent business underlines how decisive these windows can be. Last summer saw the arrivals of Chloe Kelly, Taylor Hinds, Anneke Borbe, and Olivia Smith, a cluster of signings designed to add quality and depth across the pitch. When January came around, Smilla Holmberg was brought in to strengthen the squad further, with Barbora Votikova added on loan to sharpen competition in goal.
The dates are now fixed. The plans, quietly, are already underway.
