Colo Colo are closing in on one of the World Cup’s most unlikely new stars. At 40 years old, Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha is on the brink of a move to the Chilean giants, after club president Aníbal Mosa confirmed an agreement has been reached for the free agent to join.
Speaking before Colo Colo’s league clash with Deportes Limache, Mosa laid it out plainly: Vozinha is coming.
“Vozinha will be a Colo Colo player. In the coming days he will travel to Chile, undergo the usual medical examinations and then be presented here at the Estadio Monumental,” Mosa told reporters.
