Details of the Two Rule Changes
- Yellow card suspension threshold: Players now need to accumulate four yellow cards instead of three to receive a one-match ban.
- Stadium clock display: UEFA removed the old rule preventing clocks from displaying beyond 45 and 90 minutes. Now, match organizers can show continuous time during added periods, reflecting the exact elapsed time with formats like "45 + x" or "90 + y". This change matches a similar update made in the Premier League two years ago.
