Nations League Preview: Turkiye vs Italy - Lineups and TV Info
Alessandro Bastoni is back in the starting lineup for Italy, while Matteo Ruggeri looks ready to make his first appearance for the Azzurri. The match sees Roberto Mancini face his old Sampdoria teammate Vincenzo Montella in the Nations League clash with Turkiye.
The kickoff is scheduled for 20:45 CET (19:45 BST) at the Atatürk Spor Kompleksi in Bursa.
Recent Form and Team Updates
Both teams began the Nations League with defeats last Friday. Italy lost 2-0 at home to Belgium, and Turkiye fell 1-0 to France on their turf. Mancini has kept ten players behind in Coverciano, including starters from the Belgium match like Nicolò Barella, Gianluca Mancini, and Diego Coppola.
Reports, including from Sky Sport, suggest Aston Villa's Ruggeri will start as left-back, marking his debut for Italy. Bastoni returns after serving a suspension last game. Central midfield likely features Sandro Tonali and Davide Frattesi, with Nicolò Fagioli competing with Issa Doumbia for the third midfield spot.
Up front, Francesco Pio Esposito is expected to lead the attack over Moise Kean, alongside Giacomo Raspadori and Nicolò Cambiaghi.
