Santos to Partner with Adidas for Kit Supply Starting 2028 Season
Santos FC have finalized a long-term deal with Adidas to become their official kit manufacturer beginning with the 2028 season. This move ends their current partnership with Umbro, who have been supplying the club's kits since 2018 and will remain under contract through the 2027 campaign.
End of Umbro Era and New Adidas Partnership
The agreement was publicly announced by Adidas on Thursday evening, confirming that this will mark the third time the club has partnered with the German brand for their uniforms. The switch aims to boost the club’s commercial revenue and broaden their global retail presence significantly.
Expanding Adidas' Presence in Brazilian Football
With Santos joining Adidas's roster, the brand strengthens its footprint within Brazil's top-flight football league, the Brasileirao. Other clubs currently outfitted by Adidas include Flamengo, Cruzeiro, and Internacional. The new partnership will cover official matchday apparel as well as lifestyle and training collections.
The club’s worldwide appeal remains strong thanks to legends like Pele and present stars such as Neymar and Philippe Coutinho.
Current Season and Upcoming Fixtures
On the field, Santos currently hold eighth place in the Serie A standings, having secured 38 points from 27 matches. Their schedule includes a tough away match against Sao Paulo on October 2, followed by a home game versus Flamengo six days later. They will conclude this challenging run with an away fixture at Atletico Mineiro on October 11.
