Ruben Amorim Awards AC Milan's Transfer Window a Perfect 10 Ahead of Juventus Clash

Amorim Rates AC Milan’s Summer Transfers 10/10 Before Juventus Match

Ruben Amorim, AC Milan's head coach, gave his team's summer signings full marks as they prepare for their Serie A match against Juventus. The Portuguese manager praised the squad, calling it the best in the world despite recent changes.

A Strong Start Faces a Challenge

The Rossoneri have kicked off the season with wins over Torino and Venezia, keeping a perfect record so far. Should Milan beat Juventus, Amorim will become only the fourth manager to win his first three Serie A games with the club. This upcoming fixture is the first since the transfer window closed after Rafael Leao’s departure. New signing Goncalo Ramos, the club’s record purchase, has already scored in his second league appearance.

Amorim Confident Despite Attacking Changes

Concerns arose after forwards Alvaro Morata and Christopher Nkunku left, but Amorim dismissed doubts about attacking options. Speaking to the media, he said:

"My players are some of the best in the world, so I’m not going to say it’s an eight or a nine. Every player we’ve brought in fits perfectly, so I give it a 10! I have the best squad in the world."

He acknowledged that having two strikers with different qualities could be useful but remained optimistic about tactical flexibility, mentioning the possibility of rotating three attackers. He added that players with profiles similar to Christian Pulisic might come in handy for specific games.

No Intimidation Facing Juventus

Juventus also began their Serie A campaign strongly, securing clean sheets in wins against Frosinone and Parma. Amorim said his team is mentally ready for the high-stakes clash in Turin:

"In pre-season, we weren’t winning, yet the pressure was already there. We rotated players, traveled a lot, but the pressure stayed."

"Every game is important for big clubs. Juventus is a good test to see if we've improved since last week. Playing well away at a great team with a great coach excites me; I’m not worried. My team is ready."

Turin Showdown to Define Early Season

This clash in Turin will reveal both teams’ intentions before the international break. Amorim’s side aims to break down Juventus’s solid defense, which has kept two clean sheets. A victory would keep Milan atop the table and reinforce Amorim’s standing among Italy’s top managers.
