Rafael Leao Trains in Brazil Amid Transfer Speculation
Rafael Leao’s summer has barely started, but the transfer intrigue has already followed him to Brazil.
The Milan forward, fresh from Portugal’s 2026 World Cup campaign, has been spotted training at Corinthians’ facilities while on holiday, and he didn’t exactly keep a low profile. The 27-year-old worked on the pitch in full view of cameras, wearing a Corinthians jersey as he put in the yards.
Corinthians’ official X account published images of Leao at the club’s training ground, showing the winger going through drills and sharing moments with players and staff. No closed doors, no disguises. Just a Serie A star in the shirt of one of Brazil’s giants, in the middle of a summer clouded by uncertainty over his future.
Leao is due back in Italy at the end of the month to rejoin Milan and begin pre-season with the Rossoneri. For now, though, he is keeping himself sharp away from Europe, turning a holiday into an opportunity to stay in shape and, intentionally or not, stir a few headlines.
The timing adds an extra edge. The Portuguese winger is widely expected to leave Milan in this transfer window. So far, however, the market has not exploded around him. The only concrete offer on the table has come from Fenerbahce, and Leao is not prepared to accept that move.
Earlier this week, he confirmed that he has already spoken with Milan about a possible summer exit, a clear signal that both player and club are braced for change if the right proposal arrives.
For now, the images tell the story: a Milan star, future undecided, training in Brazil in a Corinthians shirt while Europe waits to see who makes the first serious move.
