PSG Proposes Major Pay Raise to Desire Doue with New Contract Until 2032
PSG Offers Desire Doue a Long-Term Contract Extension
Paris Saint-Germain are working on a new contract deal for their attacking midfielder Desire Doue, aiming to keep him at the club through to 2032. The French champions want to reward the 21-year-old with a substantial salary increase that matches his rising influence in Luis Enrique's team.
Securing a Key Player’s Future
The talks between PSG and Doue have officially begun, as reported by L’Equipe. Although Doue’s current agreement lasts until summer 2029, the club is eager to lock him down early. This season, he has already appeared in four Ligue 1 matches, proving to be a reliable part of Enrique’s tactical plans.
Significant Pay Increase on the Table
The main reason behind this new offer is PSG’s wish to adjust Doue’s wages to reflect his importance in the squad. Once a promising talent from Rennes, he has quickly become a key player in the rotation. The club’s management has publicly stated their intention to give him a notable pay rise, underlining how highly they value the French international.
Adapting Well in Paris
Doue’s quick growth from a young prospect into a vital figure for the team has been impressive. His attacking skills and versatility fit perfectly with PSG’s demanding style, both domestically and in Europe. Gaining such a role at a club of PSG’s stature is challenging, but the trust between him and the manager has helped accelerate contract talks.
Positive Negotiations Expected
The decision now rests with Doue, who reportedly feels very content living in Paris. He supports the club’s vision and seems ready to commit long-term. Both sides share the same goal, so a final agreement looks likely soon. Meanwhile, Doue’s focus remains on helping PSG improve their start to the Ligue 1 season after just one win in four games.
