The Mohamed Salah era at Liverpool is over. The next chapter begins on the Black Sea.
The 34-year-old Egyptian has signed a two-year deal with Trabzonspor, joining the Turkish club as a free agent after his summer departure from Anfield. He landed in Trabzon on Wednesday, completed the formalities, and by Thursday the Super Lig side had pushed the button on one of the most eye-catching transfers of the window.
The speculation that had followed him all summer ended in a single announcement. The sight that followed said everything about what he means to this club already.
A hero’s welcome on the Black Sea
