Michael Olise Faces Paternity Allegations from German Woman
France and Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise is at the centre of a growing off-field storm after a German woman publicly accused him of abandoning their young daughter despite, she says, acknowledging he is the father.
The woman, 34-year-old Fatima Zaunbrecher, has gone public with her claims on Instagram, alleging that Olise has never met the child, has not contributed financially of his own accord, and has ignored her attempts to reach him.
A relationship, a separation, then a DNA test
Zaunbrecher says she and Olise were in a relationship from 2022, lasting around two years before they split. Shortly after the separation, she claims she discovered she was pregnant.
A subsequent DNA test, she says, confirmed Olise as the father of her daughter, named Aaliyah Noor Olise, now two and a half years old. According to Zaunbrecher, Olise has “formally acknowledged” paternity but has not taken an active role in the child’s life.
Her allegations have been laid out in a series of videos on her Instagram account, @fati.zahara, where she accuses the Bayern Munich star of emotional and financial neglect.
“I gave him a chance”
Zaunbrecher says that through her then-legal representative, she attempted to establish an initial child-support arrangement while a court ruling was pending.
She claims her former lawyer contacted Olise’s legal team with a proposal for an initial €2,000 payment in child support. The sum, she says, was intended as a starting figure while the case moved towards a formal court determination.
“I pretty much said you can do it through my former lawyer, who wrote to his lawyer that he can start paying, and I also sent it to my bank account, and he didn't send anything,” she said in one of the videos.
“I gave him a chance, but my child's father is savage; he didn't take it, and he completely ignored it. His lawyers are very terrible persons.”
According to her, no payment has arrived, and no direct contact has followed.
Two jobs, one parent
Zaunbrecher paints a picture of a single mother stretched to her limits. She says she is currently working two jobs to raise Aaliyah alone, while the child’s father, in her words, lives a very different reality.
“I'm raising our child alone while her father is partying and inviting women and doing the most and is not paying any dime for his own daughter,” she said.
“Since that day, he hasn't paid anything, and he didn't call his daughter. But he said in the statement that he wanted to contact his daughter and me. That doesn't make any sense.”
Her focus, she insists, is not on policing Olise’s private life but on securing consistent support for their daughter.

While the off-field accusations gather attention, Olise has been enjoying a break following a standout tournament with France at the 2026 World Cup, where he finished with a competition-best seven assists as Les Bleus took fourth place.

The images of a player in holiday mode, after a glittering World Cup, now sit uncomfortably alongside a very different narrative: a mother claiming she is juggling two jobs to support a child she says he has never met.
A rising star under scrutiny
On the pitch, Olise’s stock has rarely been higher. Off it, the questions are only growing louder.
Zaunbrecher says she will continue to pursue formal support through legal channels. As the case edges towards the courts and the new club season looms, the spotlight on one of Europe’s most gifted playmakers will no longer be confined to what he does with the ball at his feet.
