Live Streaming and TV Broadcasters for 2024-2027 Season

Canal+

Canal+ holds French pay-TV rights for the UEFA Champions League from 2024-25 through 2026-27, with a contract valued at over $500 million annually covering multiple UEFA competitions including the Europa League and Conference League. Previously, Canal+ shared some Champions League rights with beIN Sports France but now streams all matches live via its channels and app.

Subscribers can choose monthly passes or longer contracts, ranging from basic access to one Wednesday match to full-week access for all games. Additional features include match replays, highlights, and summaries available on the myCANAL app and website. Viewers can watch on smartphones, tablets, computers, smart TVs, and select consoles.

Canal+ broadcasts UEFA Champions League matches across these channels: Canal+ Foot, Canal+ France, Canal+ Live 1 to 18, Canal+ Sport, and Canal+ Sport360, plus streaming on myCANAL.

Canal+ (2027-2031)

Canal+ extended its exclusive rights for the UEFA Champions League in France until the 2030-31 season. All matches except the final will air exclusively on Canal+. The final is co-broadcast by TF1, offering free-to-air coverage.

Canal+ continues to show matches on its main channels and provides extra content like highlights, interviews, archives, and studio shows such as the Canal Champions Club. The Canal+ app supports streaming on smart TVs, PCs, laptops, iOS, and Android devices. Satellite TV and cable providers like SFR and Orange also carry Canal+'s UCL coverage, though availability may vary.

Groupe M6 (2024-2027)

Groupe M6 holds non-exclusive free-to-air rights for the UEFA Champions League final in France until 2027, making it the official broadcaster of the finals for 2025, 2026, and 2027. The deal, estimated at $4 million per season, follows previous free-to-air rights held by TF1.

Fans can watch live matches via the OTT service M6+ MAX, which streams ad-free on Android and iOS apps. The M6 en Direct website may also offer live viewing on desktops. Premium subscribers get on-demand replays of finals in HD with monthly or annual plans.

Groupe M6 airs matches on 6play, M6, and M6+ platforms.

TF1 (2027-2031)

TF1 secured rights to broadcast the UEFA Champions League final from 2027-28 through 2030-31. This four-year agreement allows fans in France to watch the final free-to-air, replacing M6 and costing around 2 million euros.

The majority of tournament matches remain exclusive to Canal+. This setup complies with French law requiring major sports events to be shown free-to-air.

Viewers can access TF1 coverage through digital terrestrial TV, satellite, cable providers like Bouygues, Orange, and SFR, and stream the final via the TF1+ app (formerly MyTF1). The app works on smart TVs, mobile devices, tablets, PCs, Chromecast, Apple TV, and some TV operators' platforms.

TF1 broadcasts on TF1, TF1+, and TFX channels.

tabii (2024-2027)

In France, UEFA Champions League matches are also available on tabii across TV and streaming services for the 2024-27 seasons.
