How to Buy FIFA World Cup 2026 Tickets: What's Still Available and Where to Buy

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup less than two months away, many of the official ticket sales phases have already closed — but there is still one window open for fans looking to secure their place at the tournament.

The Last-Minute Sales Phase Is Now Live

The final and most accessible ticket sales phase opened on April 1, 2026 and runs through to the end of the tournament on July 19. This is the only remaining official route to purchasing tickets directly through FIFA.

Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis, with purchases processed as real-time transactions subject to availability. All successfully purchased tickets are confirmed immediately at the point of sale.

The only place to buy official tickets is FIFA.com/tickets — FIFA does not authorise any other platform for direct sales.

What Sales Phases Have Already Closed

For context, the 2026 World Cup ticket process ran through several earlier phases, all of which are now concluded:

  • Visa Presale Draw — open September 10–19, 2025, exclusively for qualifying Visa cardholders
  • Early Ticket Draw — open October 27–31, 2025, with a randomised selection process
  • Random Selection Draw — open December 11, 2025 to January 13, 2026, available to any interested applicant
  • PMA Late Qualifier Supporters phase — open April 1–21, 2026, for fans of participating national teams

None of these phases are open for new applications or purchases.

What to Expect When Buying Now

Availability at this stage will vary significantly depending on the fixture. High-profile matches — the final, semi-finals and games involving major footballing nations — are likely to have very limited or no remaining inventory. Group stage fixtures in less prominent host cities may offer more options.

If official tickets are unavailable for your preferred match, FIFA also operates an official resale platform where ticket holders can list their seats under regulated conditions. This is the safest secondary market option and avoids the risk associated with unofficial resellers.

The 2026 World Cup runs from June 11 to July 19 across 16 cities in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Act quickly — availability at this stage of the sales process will only decrease as the tournament approaches.
