The 26-year-old Spain forward has reached a personal agreement with Paris Saint-Germain over a transfer, according to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Deutschland, with talks now underway between the two clubs. The player’s side is essentially done. The hard bargaining shifts to Barcelona and PSG.
“This has been the plan for several days already,” Plettenberg reports. PSG identified Torres early, stayed patient, and now sense their moment.
Barcelona, crucially, are not fighting to keep him.
