Estadio BBVA, known as El Gigante de Acero (The Steel Giant), serves as the home stadium for CF Monterrey and is one of three Mexican venues hosting matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Alongside the legendary Estadio Azteca and Chivas' Estadio Akron, this stadium is set to welcome fans for a memorable tournament experience.
Since opening in 2015, Estadio BBVA has hosted numerous Monterrey games and Mexican national team fixtures. The 2026 World Cup adds a fresh chapter for this modern arena, which will hold four matches during the event, including group stage and Round of 32 games.

How to Purchase Tickets for Estadio BBVA
The main official ticket lotteries have ended after processing over 500 million requests, making primary ticket availability extremely limited now.
Currently, the Last-Minute Sales Phase is active since April 1. Tickets here are sold on a first-come, first-served basis with immediate confirmation—no lottery involved. This phase offers your last chance to buy official tickets directly from FIFA.
The Official FIFA Resale Marketplace also operates as a trusted platform where verified tickets can be bought and sold at regulated prices as the tournament nears.
If you miss out there, secondary sites like StubHub may have last-minute tickets, but make sure to read their terms carefully.
