Durand Cup 2026: Dates, Teams, Full Schedule, and TV Broadcast Details

The 135th Durand Cup kicked off on Saturday, July 25, with the iconic Kolkata derby between East Bengal FC and Mohun Bagan Super Giant. This year features 24 teams competing across five cities from July 25 to August 23, making it one of the largest editions in the history of Asia's oldest football tournament.

Host Cities and Venues

Kolkata remains the main hub with matches held at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan and Kishore Bharati Krirangan. The city will stage two group phases, the opening game, two quarterfinals, a semifinal, and the final match.

Other host cities include Ranchi, Imphal, Guwahati, and Shillong. Ranchi is hosting for the first time, with the Birsa Munda Stadium hosting group matches from July 26 to August 16 along with a quarterfinal. Imphal’s Khuman Lampak Stadium hosts fixtures from July 28 to August 17 plus a quarterfinal, Shillong’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium runs games from July 31 to August 20 including a semifinal, and Guwahati’s Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium handles group-stage matches between August 1 and 13.

Starting Date

The tournament began on July 25 and will conclude with the final on August 23.

Participating Teams

Mohun Bagan Super Giant, winners 17 times, and East Bengal FC, with 16 titles, headline the Kolkata groups. They face teams like Mohammedan SC, South United FC, CISF Protectors, and newcomers Baghpat FC and Samaleswari Sporting.

Jamshedpur FC, Sporting Club Delhi, and Indian Air Force compete in Ranchi alongside Sri Lanka's Defenders FC. Imphal hosts TRAU FC, NEROCA FC, Indian Navy, and debutants FC Raengdai. Shillong's group includes Shillong Lajong FC, Langsning FC, Nongkseh SS&CC, and newcomers Mumbay FC. Defending champions NorthEast United FC lead the Guwahati group with FC1, Bodoland FC, and Karbi Anglong Morning Star FC.
