Champions League 2026/27 Draw: Schedule, Seedings & Live Viewing Details
The draw for the UEFA Champions League 2026/27 league phase is set for Thursday, August 27, starting at 5pm BST (12 noon ET). The event will take place at Monaco's Grimaldi Forum.

Seedings and Pots for the Draw
A total of 36 teams will be split into four seeded pots based on their five-year UEFA club coefficient rankings. Paris Saint-Germain, as last season's champions, are automatically placed in Pot 1.
Each team will face two opponents from each pot, playing one home match and one away. Clubs from the same country cannot face each other during this phase.

Draw Procedure Details
- Teams from Pot 1 will be drawn against two clubs from each of the other three pots, with one game at home and one away.
- The same drawing process applies sequentially for Pots 2, 3, and 4.
- Clubs from the same national league cannot be matched in this phase, preventing matches like Real Madrid vs. Real Betis.
- No team can play more than two opponents from the same country.
- A new UEFA rule prohibits the same fixture, with the same home team, from occurring in three consecutive seasons. For example, if Arsenal and Inter Milan meet this season with Arsenal hosting, Inter can't host the same fixture if they meet again soon after.
