Clubs Qualified for UEFA Champions League 2026-27: Complete List of Participants

The UEFA Champions League returns with top European clubs competing for glory. Paris Saint-Germain, champions for two consecutive years, aim to make history by winning a third straight title—a feat only achieved by three clubs before.

Challengers include heavyweights like Barcelona, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Liverpool. Also joining are newcomers such as Italy’s Como, qualifying for Europe's premier club competition for the first time ever.

Teams Entering League Phase

A total of 36 teams will compete in the league stage for the 2026/27 season. Of these, 29 qualified directly, while seven earned their places through playoffs.

The top four teams from each of the four highest-ranked UEFA leagues get direct entry. Then, three teams qualify directly from the fifth-ranked league, two from the sixth-ranked, and one each from leagues ranked seventh to tenth.

Two additional spots come via European Performance Spots (EPS), based on last season's overall UEFA results. For 2026/27, England and Spain secured these extra slots, with Germany narrowly missing out.
