According to Italian transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Dortmund have made direct contact to explore a potential deal for the 18-year-old winger, asking PSG about his situation and possible availability. It is an early move, but a deliberate one: the Bundesliga side want more pace and unpredictability in the final third, and Mbaye fits that profile.

The teenager is already building a solid résumé in Paris. He has clocked up 42 appearances for PSG’s first team, contributing four goals and four assists. Those numbers are modest at first glance, but they come in a squad packed with attacking stars and in a role where minutes are fiercely contested.
