Barcelona Dominates Feyenoord 5-1 with Raphinha's Brilliant Performance in Champions League

Barcelona Cruises Past Feyenoord with Raphinha Leading the Charge

Raphinha continued his exceptional start to the season by scoring twice as Barcelona delivered an impressive 5-1 victory over Feyenoord in their UEFA Champions League clash. Former Arsenal and Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus also scored his first goal for Barcelona, sealing the win late in the match.

Raphinha opened the scoring early in the third minute with a stunning display of skill, beating two defenders before calmly finishing. This marked his seventh goal in five games this season, having scored in every match so far.

Feyenoord, managed by former Barcelona Champions League winner Giovanni van Bronckhorst, had a penalty appeal denied when Anis Hadj Moussa went down inside the box at the 20th minute. Moments later, Barcelona doubled their advantage through a curling 20-yard shot from Karim Adeyemi, who celebrated with a backflip.

In the 57th minute, Raphinha scored again by firing across the keeper after a well-timed run, making it his eighth goal of the campaign and the third time he has scored twice in five matches. Lamine Yamal added a fourth goal with a free-kick in the 77th minute. Despite Barcelona’s strong defense, substitute Sem Steijn pulled one back for Feyenoord in the 82nd minute. Gabriel Jesus then headed in the fifth goal for Barcelona, marking their 22nd goal in five games this season.
