Zeidane Inoussa Set to Join Portsmouth on Loan

Swansea City winger Zeidane Inoussa is set to join Championship rivals Portsmouth on loan for the rest of the season, as the Welsh club reshapes its attacking options.

The 24-year-old arrived at Swansea last summer from Swedish side BK Hacken for a significant fee, billed as a long-term project and tied down on a contract running to 2030. His first campaign in South Wales never really caught fire. Injuries disrupted his rhythm, and he finished the season with just one goal in 29 appearances.

Now the landscape has shifted.

Swansea have moved aggressively in the wide areas, bringing in Moussa Yeo and Joseph Opoku, with Manchester City youngster Jeremy Monga also expected to arrive shortly. With fresh competition flooding the flanks, Inoussa has slipped down the pecking order and Swansea are ready to let him seek minutes elsewhere.

Portsmouth, promoted and ambitious, are ready to give him that stage. The move offers Inoussa a reset: same division, different environment, and the chance to prove why Swansea invested heavily in him only a year ago.

He is not the only winger Swansea are prepared to move on. The club are also keen to offload Florian Bianchini after his disappointing loan spell at Portsmouth last season, while speculation continues to swirl around the future of fellow wide player Ronald.
