Iliman Ndiaye Linked with Al-Hilal Move as Bournemouth Nears Deal for Antonio Silva
Al-Hilal have reportedly started negotiations with Everton about signing Iliman Ndiaye during this transfer window. Ndiaye, 26, joined Everton from Marseille in the summer of 2024 and has appeared 71 times for the Toffees, scoring 17 goals and providing three assists.
There has been ongoing speculation about the Senegal international's future, with Manchester United among his potential suitors. Yet, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, talks between Al-Hilal and Everton are underway. Ndiaye is said to be open to the move, but the clubs still need to agree on a transfer fee.
Al-Hilal appear eager to bolster their squad further this summer after securing a deal for West Ham United's Crysencio Summerville.
Bournemouth Close to Signing Benfica Defender Antonio Silva
Bournemouth look set to complete the signing of 22-year-old centre-back Antonio Silva from Benfica. The Cherries became frontrunners once it was clear Silva would leave Benfica this summer.
Though progress has been slow recently, sources including Record suggest the deal is nearly done, pending only final details. Silva is expected to play in Benfica’s Europa League qualifying match against St Gallen on Thursday, which might be his last appearance before the transfer is confirmed later this week.
Silva has made 182 appearances for Benfica across all competitions and earned 20 caps for Portugal. Once considered one of the top young centre-backs globally, his recent seasons have seen a dip in form.
Newcastle Shows Interest in Braga Goalkeeper Lukas Hornicek
Newcastle United are reportedly tracking 24-year-old goalkeeper Lukas Hornicek from Braga, although no formal offer has been submitted yet. Hornicek played 55 games last season and totals 88 appearances since breaking into Braga’s first team.
Sky Sports News reports that Newcastle seek to add another goalkeeper this summer. Hornicek’s contract includes a £30 million release clause, and he has already declined a move to Hull City. Standing 6ft 6in tall, he could be brought in as Newcastle’s new number one, especially with Nick Pope rumored to be leaving St James’ Park.
