Tottenham's Bold Moves: Signing Omar Marmoush and Savinho from Manchester City

Tottenham hit the panic button – and reach for Manchester City’s bench.

Less than 24 hours after a bruising 3-0 defeat at Brentford on the opening weekend of the Premier League season, Spurs have moved aggressively in the market, accelerating not one but two major attacking deals with City.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham have reached a full agreement with City for Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush in a deal worth €60 million. The former Eintracht Frankfurt striker is expected in London on Monday to undergo his medical and sign his contract, as the club scrambles to inject fresh firepower into a side that looked blunt and exposed on Saturday.

Marmoush is not the only arrival in the pipeline. Spurs are also closing in on Savinho, with the Manchester City winger set to join for around €100 million. It is a staggering double outlay, a clear statement that the Brentford setback has jolted the club into action rather than introspection.
