Mohamed Salah and Fabinho Contact Tottenham's Richarlison Over Trabzonspor Transfer

Mohamed Salah and Fabinho have reached out personally to Tottenham forward Richarlison, encouraging him to join Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor. The Brazilian star finds himself sidelined at Tottenham and is eager for a fresh start, but talks between the clubs remain stalled ahead of the transfer deadline on September 4.

Transfer Talks Stall Amid Frozen-Out Forward's Desire to Leave

Richarlison’s time at Tottenham appears bleak as the club declined a €20 million (£17m) bid from Trabzonspor late in the window. This rejection has left the player’s camp doubtful that an agreement will be reached before the Turkish market closes. The striker is keen on leaving north London but negotiations have hit a snag, casting doubt over any imminent move.

Support from Former Teammates to Join Turkish Giants

Sources from ESPN Brazil reveal that both Salah and his former Brazil teammate Fabinho contacted Richarlison directly to promote the idea of playing in Turkey. Despite growing frustrations with Tottenham’s management, Richarlison remains determined to control his next destination and secure regular playing time elsewhere.

Roberto De Zerbi Excludes Richarlison from First Team Plans

After a failed transfer to Everton, Tottenham’s head coach Roberto De Zerbi has removed Richarlison from the Premier League squad. The forward now trains with the under-21 team, signaling he is not part of the club’s current plans. Should the Trabzonspor deal collapse, the Brazilian might explore other options such as moves to Saudi Arabia or face months without competitive action.

Transfer Deadline Approaching Fast

Trabzonspor must meet Tottenham’s £35 million valuation before the September 4 deadline at 23:59. If no deal is struck, Richarlison will stay sidelined until the January window. Tottenham and De Zerbi’s priority lies in assembling a frontline that can deliver results this season.
