RB Leipzig Make Significant Bid for Matias Fernandez-Pardo
RB Leipzig are making a late push to land Matias Fernandez-Pardo before the transfer window slams shut, with a significant bid already on the table.
Sky Germany report that Die Roten Bullen have reached an agreement on personal terms with the Belgium international, clearing a major hurdle in the negotiations. The next step is convincing Lille.
Leipzig are understood to have submitted an offer worth around €32–33 million, a package that includes what are described as realistic bonuses for Fernandez-Pardo. It’s a fee that underlines how highly the Bundesliga club rate the 21-year-old.
The striker has produced 12 goals and 11 assists in 71 appearances for Lille, numbers that only tell part of the story for a forward still shaping his game at the top level.
Leipzig’s attacking rebuild does not stop there. The club are also closing in on a loan deal for Christopher Nkunku from AC Milan, in what would be a high-profile return for the former fan favourite.
Two signings, one statement: Leipzig want fresh firepower now.
