Omar Marmoush: A Fantasy Premier League Differential
Omar Marmoush has barely walked through the doors at Tottenham Hotspur, but the fixture list is already rolling out a welcome mat for Fantasy Premier League managers.
The Egyptian forward, priced at £7.0m, arrives from Manchester City with a schedule that screams “immediate punt” for the 2026/27 season. If you’re looking for an early differential, this is the kind of window that doesn’t stay open for long.
Home comforts, perfect timing
Spurs are one of only three clubs – alongside Bournemouth and Leeds United – who play three of their next four matches at home. For a player with Marmoush’s profile, that matters.
The run is inviting:
- GW2: Newcastle United (H) – FDR 2
- GW3: Nottingham Forest (A) – FDR 3
- GW4: Everton (H) – FDR 3
- GW5: Aston Villa (H) – FDR 3
None of those fixtures rates above three on the Fixture Difficulty Ratings scale, where five is the toughest and one the easiest. It’s not a cakewalk, but it’s a clear step down from the kind of defensive blocks Marmoush regularly ran into at the Etihad.

Dig into Marmoush’s Premier League record for Manchester City and a pattern jumps out. He was a different animal at home.
Across the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons:

Every single one of his 10 league goals for City came in home matches. All of them. Two of his four assists as well.
Now drop that profile into a Spurs side about to play three times in front of their own fans in the next four Gameweeks. The fit looks obvious.
De Zerbi doesn’t wait around
There’s another reason to believe Marmoush could hit the ground running: Roberto De Zerbi’s approach to new signings.
The Spurs head coach has already shown he’s not interested in easing fresh arrivals in slowly. Savio, priced at £6.5m in Fantasy, joined from Manchester City and was thrown straight into the side against Charlton Athletic in the EFL Cup – just one day after completing his move.
The response? A goal and an assist on debut.
Marmoush has also enjoyed a full pre-season with City, so there are no fitness caveats. If De Zerbi wants him, he’s ready. A starting spot against Newcastle on Saturday evening is a real possibility, not a distant hope.
If Savio’s instant impact is any guide, Marmoush could be given the same licence to explode straight away.
A genuine differential alongside the big guns
Right now, Marmoush sits at just 1.0 per cent ownership in Fantasy. That’s tiny. For managers already locked into Erling Haaland at £15.5m and tempted by Joao Pedro at £7.6m, Marmoush offers a third forward slot with serious upside and very little crowding.
He doesn’t need to become a season-long hero to justify the move. With three home fixtures in four, a short-term burst of returns would be enough to separate early adopters from the pack.
