North Dakota vs Florida Atlantic: First-Ever Clash in Women's Soccer

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Road miles banked, lessons learned, and now a little history on deck.

After a 0-1-1 swing through California, the North Dakota women's soccer team returns to Bronson Field on Sunday for a noon kickoff against Florida Atlantic in a matchup the program has never seen before. Fighting Hawks vs. Owls, chapter one.

It’s the only game on North Dakota’s schedule this week, but it carries extra weight. The contest is also the second-to-last fixture of the 2026 non-conference slate, a final chance to sharpen details before league play closes in. No travel, no split focus. Just one opponent, one afternoon, one opportunity to reset at home.

Bronson Field will stage the first meeting between the two programs, with the all-time series sitting at 0-0-0. The Sunday matinee is set for a 12 p.m. (Noon) CT start, giving UND a prime window to stamp its mark on a new opponent and steady its record after the split results out west.
