Man Utd Target Monica Jusu Bah from BK Hacken

Manchester United are set to bring Swedish winger Monica Jusu Bah to the Women’s Super League after agreeing terms to sign the BK Hacken star.

The 23-year-old is expected to complete the move before next Thursday’s WSL transfer deadline, with only final details and formalities left to clear.

United will pay a fee to Hacken, though the figure remains undisclosed. Jusu Bah only signed an extension with the Swedish club in September 2025 and is contracted there until 2028, so prising her away has not come cheaply.

She has spent her entire career in Sweden, breaking through at Umea before earning her switch to BK Hacken in 2023. Her rise has been sharp. Her impact, immediate.

In May, she helped Hacken lift the inaugural Women’s Europa Cup, adding European silverware to a rapidly growing CV and underlining her ability to perform on a bigger stage.

On the international front, Jusu Bah has made 11 appearances for Sweden and featured in all six of their Women’s World Cup qualifying matches this year, establishing herself as a regular in the national setup.

United are not done yet. The club are understood to be targeting at least one more signing before the window shuts next week as they reshape the squad for the season’s run-in.

The deal for Jusu Bah continues a busy window for United, who have already brought in defender Andrea Medina from Atletico Madrid and goalkeeper Janina Leitzig from Leicester City.

Now they are closing on a winger with European pedigree and international experience, a signing that signals clear intent as the deadline ticks closer.
