Kostantinos Karetsas Joins Borussia Dortmund After Completing Medical
Borussia Dortmund has secured the signature of Greek prospect Kostantinos Karetsas. The young player finished his medical examination earlier today and officially signed a contract that will keep him at the club through 2031.
The German side agreed on a transfer deal with Genk, paying a fixed fee of €35 million. Additional bonuses are included, tied to both team achievements and Karetsas's individual performances. This move closes the door for AC Milan, who had monitored Karetsas closely but couldn't finalize the transfer due to complications surrounding the sale of Rafael Leao.
Once considered one of Milan's prime targets, Karetsas's switch to Dortmund marks a significant acquisition for the Bundesliga club as they continue to build for the future.
