Juventus Pursues Loan Deal for Goalkeeper Suzuki
Juventus are making one last, aggressive move to solve their goalkeeping puzzle before the new season kicks off – and Suzuki is at the centre of it.
The Serie A club, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, are pushing hard for a loan deal, even as PSG close in on signing the Parma goalkeeper for €35 million. The French champions have an agreement in place with the Emilia-Romagna side and are expected to announce the transfer soon, but Juventus are trying to wedge themselves into the story before the ink dries on the next chapter.
Their idea is clear: let PSG buy him, then send him straight back to Italy. The plan would see the Japan international in Turin on a temporary deal until June, immediately installed as the new No.1 in Luciano Spalletti’s side.
From the player’s perspective, the move is anything but far-fetched. Born in 2002, Suzuki has already given his full green light to the proposal. No doubts, no hesitation. He is ready to join Juventus for the rest of the season.
The attraction is obvious. A top European club on his CV, yet the guarantee of regular minutes in Serie A, rather than risking a season on the bench in Paris. For a young goalkeeper on the rise, that combination is gold.
Now the spotlight turns to Luis Enrique and the PSG hierarchy. They hold the keys. Before anyone sits down to dissect salary splits, bonuses or clauses, the French club must decide whether Suzuki’s immediate future lies in Paris or passes through Turin first.
