Juventus rebuilt their goalkeeping department this summer and walked straight into a duel.

Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb, the Tottenham loanee highlighted Grabara’s pedigree: he recalled the Pole’s standout campaign in the Champions League with Copenhagen and described him as “a strong, quality goalkeeper.” He went further, calling their battle “healthy competition,” exactly the kind of internal edge top squads need.
There is no public tension, no war of words — just two goalkeepers who understand that only one of them can start.
Vicario wants to remain Spalletti’s first choice. Grabara wants to take that place. Juventus, watching two hungry keepers push each other every week, might be the biggest winner of all as this duel plays out across the season.
