Inter's Pursuit of Curtis Jones Gains Momentum
Inter’s pursuit of Curtis Jones has moved a step closer to reality, with the Italian champions quietly reshaping their midfield to make room for the Liverpool player.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Lazio have approached Inter for Davide Frattesi, opening up the possibility of a significant domino effect in the market. If Frattesi moves on, Inter would have both the space and the need to accelerate their push for Jones.
Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari of TV Dello Sport backs that picture, stating that Inter have not cooled their interest in the 23-year-old and that the feeling is mutual. Jones remains the Nerazzurri’s first-choice target for the midfield, with the club expected to revive talks with Liverpool as they work on outgoing deals, including Frattesi.
Crucially, the player is already on board. Jones has given the green light to a move and wants the transfer, leaving negotiations between Inter and Liverpool as the key hurdle before a potential switch from Anfield to San Siro becomes the next major story of this window.
