Galatasaray Pursues Bruno Fernandes with Osimhen-Level Wages

Galatasaray are pushing hard for a statement signing. And they have locked their sights on Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes.

According to Turkish journalist Emre Kaplan, the Super Lig champions are prepared to put Bruno on the very top shelf of their wage structure. The benchmark? Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen is currently Galatasaray’s highest earner, and the club are ready to mirror that salary package for the Portugal international in a bid to lure him from Old Trafford. It is a bold play, and it underlines how serious the Istanbul giants are about this chase.

Fernandes has yet to agree fresh terms with Manchester United, a delay that has alerted several clubs across Europe. Galatasaray sense an opening and are moving aggressively.

Kaplan, speaking to Habersarikirmizi, laid out the scale of the offer on the table.

“Galatasaray are prepared to offer Bruno Fernandes the same salary as Osimhen, who is presently the top earner in the squad,” he said. “They will also present whatever amount is necessary for the transfer fee. However, I believe that the reports circulating in the English media are being utilised in negotiations with United.”

So the message from Istanbul is clear: wages will not be a problem, and neither will the fee.

Galatasaray’s pursuit of Fernandes fits a wider strategy. The champions want to keep stretching their ceiling, stacking proven European quality on top of an already dominant domestic squad. Bringing in United’s captain would be a seismic move, both on the pitch and in the dressing room.

For now, Fernandes remains under contract in Manchester and without a new agreement in place. Galatasaray are waiting, money ready, convinced that this stand-off has given them their chance.
