Ferran Torres Moves Closer to PSG as Barcelona Opens Door

Ferran Torres is effectively out of Barcelona. At this point, it’s a countdown, not a debate.

Paris Saint-Germain have an initial agreement in place with Barça for the Spain international, and the last 24 hours have turned negotiation into a sprint. The two clubs have spent the final stretch locked in intense talks – offers flying in, counter-offers coming back, clauses tweaked, details argued over – until they finally landed on common ground that unlocks the move.

The clearest sign came from Barcelona’s own training pitch.

Training ground tells the story

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barça allowed Torres to skip training again on Thursday morning, the second consecutive session he has missed. He was due back with Hansi Flick’s squad on Wednesday. Instead, the 26-year-old has been given space to close his switch to PSG, with the full approval of a club that is negotiating with the French champions in parallel.

While Torres stayed away to sort out his future, the rest of Flick’s group continued to take shape.
