Fenerbahce have made their boldest move of the summer, confirming the arrival of Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku from Napoli as they load up for a full-scale assault on Turkish football’s summit.
The club kept the numbers out of the spotlight, but French outlet Foot Mercato values the deal at around 6 million euros, with bonuses and incentives poised to push that figure higher. For a 33-year-old with a title-winning stint in Serie A behind him, it looks like sharp business.
