Davide Frattesi Returns to Lazio: A New Chapter in His Career

Davide Frattesi is home. Officially a Lazio player, the 24-year-old stepped back into the city where he grew up, swapping the uncertainty of recent days for a clear, Roman-blue future.

“I return with a different responsibility and with greater maturity. I think the time has come for me to take on important responsibilities and I do so very willingly,” he repeated, almost as if setting his own standard in public.

Frattesi revealed that Lazio and Inter had already explored the possibility earlier in the year. “We had been quite close in January, then for a series of reasons we were unable to close,” he said. “This time they informed me a couple of days ago: there was only time to decide and settle the papers. I didn’t have many doubts.”

Once the call came, the decision followed quickly. The boy from Giustiniana had his route back.

Now the football starts. With Serie A fast approaching, Gattuso gains a midfielder who can break lines, press aggressively, and arrive in the box, while still covering ground defensively.
