Bradley Barcola Signs Long-Term Liverpool Deal for Premier League Glory

Liverpool have landed one of Europe’s most coveted young forwards, with French international Bradley Barcola completing a long-term move to Anfield after finalising his medical at the AXA Training Centre.

The 21-year-old arrives as a fully formed threat rather than a raw prospect. He will wear the No.29 shirt and steps into Jürgen Klopp’s front line with a clear message: he is here to win big – and to stay.

"It's a great pride to be able to play for Liverpool. I'm very happy," Barcola told Liverpoolfc.com after signing. "It took a long time but I'm really happy today to be able to play for Liverpool and all I want is to be on the pitch and be able to play.

"I hope to achieve very big things. First of all, winning the Premier League – it's one of my biggest dreams in my life. It is to do that and to stay in this team in the long term – that's why I signed a long contract – and I hope I can do it."

A proven winner from Paris

Barcola joins from PSG after a three-year spell that fast-tracked him into Europe’s elite. Capable of operating anywhere across the front line, he made 152 appearances for the French champions, scoring 39 goals and providing 35 assists.

He did not just rack up minutes; he collected medals. At Parc des Princes, Barcola helped PSG secure back-to-back Champions League titles and three consecutive Ligue 1 crowns, embedding himself in a dressing room used to the highest standards and the biggest nights.

From Lyon promise to global stage

His rise began at Olympique Lyonnais, where he made his senior debut in November 2021. The step up from academy to first team did not faze him. Across 47 outings for Lyon, Barcola produced seven goals and 11 assists, enough to convince PSG to move for him in August 2023.

The trajectory has only climbed since. On the international stage, Barcola debuted for France in June 2024 and has already amassed 28 caps, scoring six times. Three of those goals came at this summer's World Cup, where he featured in every match as France battled their way to a fourth-placed finish.

Now he swaps Paris for Merseyside, Ligue 1 for the Premier League, and steps into a club whose ambitions match his own. The medals are already there. The numbers are already there.
