Sunderland, meanwhile, simply refuse to walk away. Their pursuit of Sporting’s Mozambique winger Geny Catamo did not come off in the summer, but the Championship side are still pushing to find a way to bring the 25-year-old to Wearside. The door closed once; they’re trying to prise it open again.
