Anderson Talisca Leaves Fenerbahce for Al-Jazira

Anderson Talisca’s brief spell at Fenerbahce is over almost as quickly as it began – and his next destination is already waiting.

The Turkish giants confirmed on X that they have mutually agreed to terminate the Brazilian forward’s contract. Talisca had only arrived in Istanbul during the mid-season window of the 2024-25 campaign, but both sides have decided to cut the deal short.

“Anderson Talisca joined our team's ranks during the mid-season period of 2024-2025, and his contract has been terminated by mutual agreement between the two parties,” the club announced, before signing off with a standard farewell: they wished him “all the best and success in the next stage of his footballing career.”

That next stage is set to unfold in the UAE.

According to Transfermarkt, citing respected journalist Resat Can Ozbudak, Talisca has reached an agreement with Al-Jazira. The move would reunite him with another Brazilian attacker, Malcom, the former Al-Hilal forward, giving the Abu Dhabi club a high-profile, all-Brazilian attacking axis.

Ozbudak reports that Al-Jazira have lined up a two-year contract with an option for a third season. The numbers underline the scale of the deal: Talisca is expected to earn a total annual salary of just over €10 million.

The transfer is now in its final phase. Only the medical tests and the formal signing of the contracts stand between Talisca and the latest stop in a globetrotting career that now stretches from Brazil to Europe, Saudi Arabia, Turkey – and soon, the UAE.
