Amankwah Forson Joins Hapoel Be'er Sheva on Loan
Amankwah Forson has left Norwich City for a season-long loan spell with Israeli club Hapoel Be'er Sheva, handing the Ghana international a fresh stage in European competition.
The 23-year-old only arrived at Carrow Road in 2024, signing a four-year deal after Norwich struck a move with Austrian side RB Salzburg. Since then he has become a regular option in midfield, making 44 appearances in all competitions and scoring four goals for the Canaries.
Now he steps into a different kind of spotlight.
Hapoel Be'er Sheva, six-time champions of Israel, have booked their place in the league phase of this season’s Europa League. Forson will walk straight into a campaign that brings heavyweight opposition: Juventus, AFC Bournemouth and Besiktas all lie in wait.
For Norwich, it is a chance for one of their assets to test himself against top-level European sides. For Forson, it is an opportunity to turn regular minutes and continental exposure into the next big leap of his career.
