Alyssa Thompson has been voted Player of the Match after lighting up Chelsea’s 3-0 win in Sydney, capping a successful pre-season tour of New Zealand and Australia.

The USA international was at the heart of Chelsea’s best attacking moments, directly involved in the first two goals. Sandy Baltimore struck the opener, Sjoeke Nusken added the second, and Thompson’s sharp work in the final third underpinned both.
